Dr. Tony Smith has been a chiropractic physician since 1980. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Kansas and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College. Since the early years of his practice, he has been an avid student and practitioner of progressive healing techniques.
In 1995, Dr. Smith suffered a major allergic reaction to a single dose of prescription medication, which resulted in severe, persistent joint pain. This traumatic event forced him to sell his busy, 15-year practice in Colorado Springs. He and his family then moved to North Idaho after falling in love with the area.
Dr. Smith’s disabling condition gradually improved over the next few years, and he soon resumed practicing on a limited basis.
Because of his life-changing allergy experience, and his frustration with several chronic health problems, (see Dr. Smith’s Health Journey) he was inspired to develop an effective and natural treatment for a wide variety of health problems. Dr. Smith strongly believes that this technique is a gift from God, and that many people’s lives will be dramatically improved by this remarkable treatment.
Dr. Smith lives in Post Falls, Idaho with his wife (and soulmate) Lisa. He has two adult daughters, Rachel and Caroline, of whom he is very proud. He is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, the Christian Chiropractors Association, and the Idaho Association of Chiropractic Physicians.
Dr. Smith began his search for alternative healing methods because of personal health issues.
